OUR WORK
Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with companies of all sizes on projects ranging from infill developments to large subdivisions. Here are the highlights of some of those projects.
THE PROJECT
Aurora Gateway Subdivision
This 71-hectare property is located in the Town of Aurora. These environmentally sensitive lands, located just north of the Oak Ridges Moraine, required special consideration to ensure the integrity of the existing woodlots and watercourse were protected during the development of the lands.
THE SOLUTION
HUSSON coordinated the environmental review of the lands and completed the Functional Servicing Report in support of the Draft Plan of Subdivision. Our extensive work included approximately 1.5 kilometres of municipal collector roads, the urbanization of 1.3 kilometres of boundary roads and three stormwater management ponds. We secured the Draft Plan approval and the project was constructed at a cost of approximately $20 million (exclusive of buildings). The subdivision continues to be built out with a combination of employment and commercial uses.
