Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with companies of all sizes on projects ranging from infill developments to large subdivisions. Here are the highlights of some of those projects.
THE PROJECT
West Park Village
This residential development is in the final phase of the master-planned community on the west side of the Town of Cobourg. HUSSON designed and coordinated the municipal roads and services for this phase of the development. It consists of 205 residential units comprised of townhouses, semi-detached and fully detached homes, and a park block. The total site area is approximately 14 hectares.
THE SOLUTION
HUSSON coordinated with the architect and client to ensure the proposed grading and corresponding building elevations would be acceptable from both a design and marketability point of view. The grading posed the greatest challenge to the development due to a 13-metre fall between the road at the north end of the site and the pond at the south limit that served as the overall storm outlet for the property. Our team met all the design requirements and obtained the appropriate approvals. The contract administration team helped guide the developer through the changing requirements based on the home sales and provided an efficient construction process.
